Social Impact Management Association
Vision: For Schulich graduate students and alumni to be at the leading edge of social change, known as powerful leaders for their contributions to society and the community.
Mission: To increase awareness and interest in the social sector amongst Schulich graduate students and inspire engagement that positively impacts society and contributes to students’ own personal growth.
The club is affiliated with the school’s Social Sector Management program (SOCM), both representing and connecting students to the non-profit and social enterprise sectors.
To achieve this mission, the club’s Executive Team plans, organizes and executes a series of programs/initiatives that will educate students about the sectors, provide a platform for engagement, and facilitate connections with industry professionals.
Events: We organize events inviting alumni, executives and founders from non-profit organizations, corporate firms, social enterprises, impact investors etc. for a range of events such as – Speaker Series, Debates, Executive Networking Lunches, Certified Training Workshops and Career guidance Information sessions. We also provide students with the opportunity to participate in the MBA Impact Investing Network & Training program and a Board Internship program (launching this year!).
First year students will have the ability to engage in powerful networking lunches and informative career guidance sessions. Our network lunches match 2 to 3 students with leading c-suite executives and are designed to give students new perspectives about the field while building strong relationships with key decision makers. Several students in the past have found great value through these lunches finding employment and internship opportunities.
Membership: Students can get an annual membership (which gives access to all our events) for 20$ at the Club fair in start of the fall & winter term. The membership registration can also be done online (The web-link for the same will be available during launch week).

Schulich’s Entrepreneurship and Venture Capital Club (EVCC)
Purpose: Inspire, Foster, and Support entrepreneurial environment and passion within Schulich community.
1. Panel discussions – “Business opportunities in Fintech/Blockchain”, “Breaking into VC Industry”
2. Workshops: “Business Model Canvas”, “Idea Generation Workshop” Competitions: “Idea Pitching”, “Case competition
3. Talk on “How to sell your idea with a winning body language?”
4. Welcome Mixers for Fall and winter incoming students
5. More events in partnership with GBC and other clubs
Attractions for members:
1. Streamline their dreams into viable business plans.
2. Opportunities to network with like-minded group of classmates, alumni, faculty and industry experts.
3. Fun social and educational programs.

Schulich Finance Association
Purpose: Build students with the skills to success in Finance
Events: Networking events, case competitions, training sessions
Attractions for first-year students: Guidance, support, training, networking
Membership: Register online

Net Impact Schulich
Purpose: The Schulich chapter of global organization Net Impact, we are networking platform for students interested in sustainability, energy, environmental law and consulting.
Events: Annual Conference, Case Competitions, Speaker Events and Executive Lunches
Attractions for members: Networking with alumni and innovation leaders in business.

Women In Leadership Association
Purpose: Women In Leadership (WIL) is a student organization serving undergraduate and graduate students at the Schulich School of Business. WIL serves the Schulich community by providing a series of professional, educational and networking events to enhance the understanding and appreciation of women’s role in business, while assisting members in reaching success in their chosen field. We do this by creating a network of business students, alumni, and businesswomen to inspire and support one another.

Attractions for members:
-As the only club in Schulich for both undergraduate and graduate students, WIL allows its members to connect with graduate students through our Mentorship Program, which provides a forum for inspiring and motivating students to pursue academic excellence, their dreams and leadership opportunities.
-We support the next generation of leaders by helping to provide access to higher education to female students in financial need and this coming year will be the first year the Women in Leadership Bursary will be available for all Schulich students.

Schulich East Asian Business Association
Purpose: We bridge international students to Canadian culture and society, and help them advance in academic and career excellence via a variety of club activities.
Events: New Year Orientation, Career Development Workshops, Alumni Speakers Series, and Summer BBQ!

Schulich Marketing Association
Purpose: SMA offers a platform that links academia with industry and is an invaluable experience to graduate students who aspire to become future marketing leaders. SMA inspires, engages and educates students through social events, case competitions, conferences, workshops and networking opportunities with industry professionals.
Events: Marketing Mixer, Marketing Case Competition, Rise Up, SMA Smackdown, SMA Conference
We strive to add value to Schulich’s MBA and IMBA marketing students by exposing them to the real world of marketing through interactive events and guest speakers from the industry
Attractions for members:
-Added Knowledge: Supplementing Schulich’s academic curriculum by hosting interactive events and providing marketing information through workshops and online resources -Added Interaction: Providing a venue for students to connect with like-minded peers and marketing professionals
-Recruitment Opportunities: Supporting recruitment preparation by building awareness of marketing trends, issues and best practices, and informing of new job opportunities
Membership: Registrations will open in Fall 2016. Students can register in-person at the Club Fair or online (via Tilt)

Schulich Business of Sports Club
Purpose: We provide opportunities for students to see the exciting jobs in the sports industry.
Events: Alumni mixer, case competition, speaker series, internship fair
Attractions for members: Knowledge and information about careers in sports
Membership: Sign up online

Schulich Real Property Students Assocation
Purpose: Connect students with the Real Estate and Infrastructure industry.
Events: Company visits, recruitment, cases, guest speakers, mixers.
Attractions for members: Opportunities to meet with companies and professionals currently in the industry and other like minded students.
